I had the absolute pleasure of commissioning Alison of pollen and plume to design and make a sash for my wedding dress. I came to Alison with nothing but a dream of feathers. Alison sat and worked with me, providing gentle direction and applying her sartorial style to create a breath taking feathered and beaded belt. Alison drew inspiration from the lace and design of my wedding dress to create a stunning bespoke piece. The sash not only completed my dress but made it a beautiful one of a kind creation, and therefore very special. My dressmaker was in awe of her beautiful handiwork and professionalism. Alison was an absolute pleasure and delight to work with, I cannot recommend her highly enough for any bride who desires a beautiful, bespoke piece to make their wedding special.

Alison made a beautiful hair piece for me for my wedding as well as headbands for each of our 3 flower girls. They were such intricate and delicate pieces, all made by hand!  Dealing with Alison was so easy – I gave her a brief description of what I wanted and let her get to work.  She sent me photos along the way of progress which was great and she provided a couple of alternative options if I was unsure about things eg. Stones/beads, fabric, colours etc. She is one talented lady and I absolutely loved the end product – thank you!

I went to Alison to help me with a belt and hair pieces for my wedding. I gave her a very vague brief as I wasn't quite sure what would work with the fabric of my dress. Alison attended my dress fitting and we played around with different ideas, fabrics, stones and beads. I really loved being part of the design process and the end result was stunning and so special. It's lovely to have such a special keepsake that I can hopefully pass on to my children one day. Thank you!
